About Lilyan Smith
At a young age Lilyan commenced singing and dancing and has continued to sing since. In 2018 Lilyan graduated with her Advanced Diploma, Certificate IV and II in Musical Theatre, at the Australian Performing Arts Network (APAN).
At the age of fifteen, Lilyan was one of the youngest students to be accepted at APAN and completed her Certificate II in Performing Arts majoring in Musical Theatre. The following year she left school, to study at APAN fulltime and successfully completed her Certificate IV in Musical Theatre.
Lilyan has performed in numerous musicals including Shrek Jr the Musical as Princess Fiona, Legally Blonde the Musical as Vivian, Beauty and The Beast the Musical as a Silly Girl, Musicals in Concert as a lead vocalist and performed in Grease the Musical and opened the show with 'Grease Is The Word'. Lilyan was also a lead vocalist and a understudy for the character 'Mable Washington' in Fame the Musical.
Lilyan has also performed in numerous corporate shows / events as a lead vocalist and performer. In 2017 Lilyan played the role of Mary in The City of Perth Nativity, Lilyan was very grateful to be given that role and loved every minute of this show. Lilyan was very honoured to perform at Crown Perth Entertainment events with APAN Entertainment as a lead vocalist. Lilyan also was priviliged to sing the Australian and American National Anthem at The Perth Motorplex for the 2018/2019 Drag and Speedway race series. Over the past 4 years Lilyan has also had numerous opportunities to perform on Channel 7's Telethon as a solo vocalist, backup singer for 'Big T', and also as a backup singer for the opening and closing of Telethon.
Lilyan is very grateful for all the opportunities she has received over the years and has enjoyed every moment of her performing career so far. Lilyan cannot wait to see where the future takes her and is excited to continue this amazing musical journey she is on.
